It's been an interesting start to the New Year!
Unconventional would probably be a better statement of fact!

New Years Eve came this year on January 5th.
(I said it was unconventional, didn't I)
Yes, we spent our New Years together the Saturday after the fact!  The reasons aren't important to anyone but us, so I won't put you through the details of  the "delay"

One of the neat things about celebrating something like New Years late.....is you are the only ones Who know that it's New Years! Not the people in the store where you are buying a new shirt to wear that night, Not the people you pass while on your way to the restaurant, not the waitress who brings you the bottle of champaign you will enjoy with a great meal!  It's just the two of you with this wonderful secret!

The other Great Thing when you are the only ones celebrating the New Year, is "The Clock" belongs to no one else but you!

For just a moment time stood still under that clock!  Something I will never forget.  I don't think I have told her that, but it did.  And all I can say is I look forward to our next pause under this piece of time!

The new year is officially underway for us.  Better late than Never!

The hopes and dreams of the future keep me going on,
can't wait to see how it all turns out!
