Well,
It's official....winter is here!  The snow started falling just before noon today. 

This time of year is kind of hard on me.  There is still the kid in me that waits in anticipation to see that first snowflake fall.  Then there is also the older Scott who dreads the cold, the thought of scrapiing the windshield of the car, or shoveling a path to get to "anything".
Now,
an interesting note is...
I can come home from the station every evening,
walk in the house,
and not leave all night long.
Then it snows,
and I feel like like I need to go somewhere.  I need to get out right now!
I fought the urge to get out and go somewhere this evening.  

moving on...
There was a time I dreaded shopping.  Now I look forward to it.  It has alot to do with who you are shopping With and not for.  Think about it!

well with the weekend weather not looking good for travel,
I may not be able to make it to Blue Springs to see Krista or to mark a few things off the holiday shopping list.
Sooooo..................here I sit at the laptop shopping online and blogging.

It's tough this year coming up with ideas, the kids are at "interesting ages" where they won't really tell you what they would like or want,
There are things I would Like to get Krista, but don't know how to get w/o her being there.
Anyway,
I had one of those moments where BOOM! An idea hit me,
a gift that could last forever if it were maintained properly.
So I bought it!
I'm pretty excited about it, can't wait to see how "this one" is recieved.
But it's only one gift.  More to "find"
the clock seems to be ticking faster this year!
